The foundations of the internet were laid in the 1960s. The internet, which supports information sharing and developments in software, has now become a need that everyone knows. And a wide variety of software has come into the world to increase information sharing. And giant companies that lead technology have been established. Many pioneer leaders who prioritized these companies have come into the world.
Tech Gods
The give to example: Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos etc.
These and many other people with trust identities have shaped, developed and improved the world.
But these people are people who do not think about you. None of these people think about your security. They are people who struggle for wealth only to realize their dreams with a completely capitalist approach. These people are the gods of the internet and technology world.
States work together with these people. They provide management together with them. These people sell your data to states. And they use your areas of interest as marketing material. And by providing you with paid and free services, they practically rape you in many areas, especially your private lives.
But the world needs these gods. Because in a capitalist system, you can have anything done with money and you can buy these people. You can use their services in the best quality according to your needs.
And with the support of the states, they govern people in various sessions in a deified manner. They tell you about their own successes in various seminars and sell you lies like you can do it too.
Tech Titans
There are activist technology titans who develop the dark side of the internet, tell the truth, expose the lies of companies and states and defend technology freedom in many areas.
These people argue that technology can take shape according to people’s use and cannot be managed by any management. This is also my opinion.
Think about it: You buy an aesthetic Apple product. And the reason you buy this product is because it is a fast machine with quality hardware architecture, but whether you want it or not, it always resorts to ways to restrict you. For example, you cannot directly install an application you want. Or it does not allow you to install the free version of a paid software you want. You can do this with various methods such as jeailbreak. However, this also provides you with support to a certain extent.
And these people are not loved by governments and other technology gods at all! Because their idea is to free the world, end dependency and give people the truth.
Yes. We will discuss these people. Because this article was written to give you a different perspective.

Doesn’t this seem absurd to you? This is actually the subject Richard fights for. He opened a foundation to ensure that software is free and that people can play with the service they pay for. And I think he is right. Think about it, you buy a device. Imagine buying an iPhone, under normal conditions, your use may be sufficient, but every user has said “if only” at some point. For example, when you want to download an mp3 or install a cracked software, the product you paid for does not allow you to do this.
So why is it so expensive and why does it restrict people so much? And also, Apple products are perceived as reliable. This is true in many areas. But no one can tell me clearly whether Apple products collect data or not. Apple itself says it is not doing this, but I would like to remind you that there are a few findings and a lawsuit regarding this issue.

Microsoft, which is currently owned by Bill Gates, who has such harsh words, is trying to emphasize that it supports open source by supporting trust approaches in the software world with slogans such as the ones below.
Because Microsoft brought a new language called C# to the world to compete with the programming language called Java. But while Java continued to be developed by many users because it was open source, C#, which was under the Microsoft umbrella, always remained in Microsoft products. Pavel Durov is someone who is called the Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.

What do you think Mark, the gods of technology and the owner of the social media giant Meta, would do in such a situation against the USA? However, technology titan Pavel Durov hid user data and did not give anyone away against a state like Russia, which is full of chaos and full of dangers. With this logic, Telegram was born.
Telegram is not loved by many governments and companies. Because it hides user data and does not use personal data. For this reason, it is loved by many terrorists, activists, journalists and many other different organizations. When thought of in this way, Telegram sounds dangerous, doesn’t it?
But when you think about it when you want to criticize a state administration easily via Facebook or Instagram, how does it sound when I say that Telegram is a platform that offers this to you freely and allows you to criticize as you wish?

Julian is a former hacker and anti-government and anti-corporate activist. And Julian was released recently. He spent a long time in prison. Why? Because Julian created a platform and developed a website where he wanted to report on his passion for simple, real information. Wikileaks…
So what was Wikileaks aiming for? Wikileaks, which approaches with the same logic as Wikipedia, had the following main purpose: corruption by states, distribution of taxes by companies, owners of terrorist acts, secret projects of states, behind the scenes of operations carried out in every area where the public is harmed, and many more.
In short, what Wikileaks targeted was: the plain world understanding that exists on earth. States should not conduct secret projects, companies should report their expenses, biased media should be removed and the plain media logic should prevail. Julian fought very hard for this cause. He entered into many wars with many different institutions and organizations, especially biased journalists.
Wikileaks, which spreads official documents on a subject to the internet, has been targeted by many states in the world. Wikileaks, which hosted many leaks including Turkey, has been blocked by Turkey today, but rest assured, if you try to examine the leaked data in it, you will never know what you will encounter.
Although Julian sacrificed a part of his life by being imprisoned for this cause, Wikileaks is still standing and hosting many different leaks.
Julian has gained so much influence that productions like Hollywood have tried to make up lies and produce fake movies to make him look bad. Linus developed a product. And he didn’t look at it like Bill Gates, he wished people would win. And for this reason, he delivered the product he produced to people. What is this product? Linux…
A wide variety of operating systems were provided to the world with the Linux kernel. Linux provides the kernel for a free operating system. And millions of operating systems suitable for the needs came to the world with many distributions. Let me put it this way. If they ask what the most used operating system in the world is, everyone would say Windows is the monopoly. And that’s true. The most preferred operating system for personal use is Windows.
But the most used operating system in the world is undoubtedly Linux distributions. What do I mean? For example, the Android operating system is a Linux distribution. Many servers are Linux-based. All the software used in various IoT systems are Linux-based. When you look at it from this perspective, you can understand how big it is. So what did Linus do with such a wide range of operating systems?
He distributed it to the world for free. He also gave the source codes. And he wanted it to develop. And he earned his income by giving training on this operating system. Nowadays, it has taken this step not with a trust approach like Bill Gates, but in the name of humanity and technology. And it is being developed day by day with love and interest by the open source community. And many new features have overshadowed closed source operating systems with their designs.
And his rival was tried to be lynched by many different operating system owners, but when we look at today, everyone loves Linux distributions and uses them without realizing it. For example: There is also Linux behind that screen you tweet from the refrigerator. Or on your small computer designed with Raspberry Pi. And in many other places.
Linus Torvalds gave the world a free distribution and provided the world with versatile software. However, he was never shown as an example like Bill Gates. Because he did not take capitalist steps after the government with the states. He thought about humanity and that is why he lives as a titan that most people do not know.
As a Result
These and many other names have taken their place on the dusty shelves of history because they stood against states and companies. Fortunately, those who want to see the truth can find it by researching.
There are two types of people who develop technology. Gods and Titans. While Gods always rise easily with capital and state protection and shine like movie stars, Titans, who feed on darkness and only want people’s free will, only wait underground.
